Mari Iijima is an accomplished singer and songwriter,  with top 10 albums released through Victor Entertainment Japan and Warner Music Japan. All of the music on her critically acclaimed
debut album Rosé is self-written,  produced by renowned composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Soon after she signed with Victor Entertainment Japan she voiced and sang the part of female lead Lynn Minmay
for the animation series Macross, which was also adapted into a hit film.
Mari released her 24th studio album Awakening through her independent label MARIMUSIC in September, 2016,
and continues to tour in Japan, the US, South America, and other countries.
